Seven Action Steps You Can Take To Help Solve Global Warming Problems

1. Use compact fluorescent lights throughout your house or apartment—you’ll save energy and money.

2. Upgrade all of your appliances and electronic equipment to those meeting "Energy Star" standards.

3. Insulate, weatherstrip and otherwise make your home more energy efficient.

4. Whenever possible, walk, ride a bike, take public transit and commuter trains to meet your local transportation needs.

5. Buy the most efficient car that meets your transportation needs.

6. Increase the efficiency of your car – keep your tires fully inflated, keep a light foot on the accelerator, and avoid long idling times.

7. Write, call and meet with your federal and state legislators. Tell our public officials that we can’t wait any longer to advance effective clean energy and clean car solutions to our global warming problems.
